Our Promise to Our Patients

Our treatment recommendations will never be based on your Dental Insurance Coverage. We will be thoughtful to you in the guidance we provide. We respect the importance of you deciding the final treatment options that best suit you.

At Gordon Street Dental, each treatment case is personalized to the needs, concerns, oral and general health of the individual. We take pride in our ability to first listen to your concerns, and then to work with you to provide quality outcomes you want with the highest of quality of care you deserve and should expect.

We will always focus on recommendations and treatments that are based on a solid Dental education, active and robust Continuing Dental Education, sound current and past research, and most importantly, real world practical experience.

Although it can be extremely helpful to have Dental Insurance Coverage, the word “coverage” can sometimes be misleading. Employers select Insurance packages for their employees that provide coverage to a degree, but in most cases, these Insurance packages have changed very little over the last several decades and haven’t adjusted for the inflationary cost increases that are everyday reality.

As a policy, however, we recognize that it is ultimately a Patient’s responsibility for understanding what their dental insurance coverage is. A Patient’s insurance is a matter that will always rightfully be between them, their Employer, and their Insurance Company.

Your Insurance plan may not be completely consistent with these accepted Fee guidelines set by the Ontario Dental Association.

Method of payment will be required (Debit/Interac or Credit Card) for any small discrepancies that may not be covered by Insurance, as we are not liable for what Dental Insurance does not reimburse.
